5 best yoga poses for runners


Yes it helps me. It's really relaxing!


I regularly do 3 of these and will be trying out the hamstring stretch. Never had the plantar fascia issue so not bothered at present but will advise others of it.


I am currently having Physio for sciatica and some if the stretches I've been advised to do, I would urge folk to to these as they really do help


I salute to the sun every morning and again before and after a run. The problems I had with Plantar has minimized greatly. Its five minute routine and stretches all the muscles


This is really good and I have incorporated into my yoga routine - works a treat! thank you

Yoga has helped no end with IT band injury and recovery .

4 years ago my pelvis went out line during a work related injury ,this was the 3rd time in as many years id had lower back related injurys.I attended a local back specialist who advised me to take up yoga ,I went for 18 months, 90 mins per week .Not only has my back ,posture and fitness improved ive done 5 10k s,2 half marathons and im doing my 2nd marathon in October all since taking up yoga ..it works ,,try it ....
